GovCIO is looking to solve the problem of building, testing, and maintaining infrastructure and tools that allow software solutions to be developed and released, by hiring a Full Stack Dev/DevOps.
Requirements
- Experience with Containerization technologies, micro-service network architecture, and CI/CD tools, including Gitlab
- Experience with administration, storage, and networking environments, analyzing network and bandwidth requirements, and conducting requirements analysis, system availability, and risk assessment
- Experience with managing, administering, configuring, deploying, and maintaining environments and system integration tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher, Helm, and Ceph
- Experience with using Rancher to manage Kubernetes clusters and Kubernetes host applications
- Experience with writing automated provisioning scripts, Ansible playbook, Linux automation scripts, Windows automation scripts using PowerShell, and rudimentary API's
- Experience with managing and developing cloud and cloud native applications, technologies, and networks in an air gap environment
- Knowledge of cloud concepts such as S3 and Lambda
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the planning, design, and installation of equipment, using knowledge of engineering and programming as well as sophisticated instruments and computers.
- Participates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts.
- Installs all new hardware, systems, and software for networks.
- Designs, creates, and builds network services, equipment and devices.
- Generates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
- Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
- Reviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements.
