The Ohio Public Employees Retirement System is looking to solve complex problems and drive real-world impact by creating technical solutions, and is seeking a Full Stack Developer 3 to contribute to this effort.
Requirements
- at least 4 years of designing and developing web applications
- at least 2 years of working with Java
- at least 2 years of working with JavaScript Framework
- experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and/or Angular preferred but not required
- strong knowledge in applying design patterns, test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (Jenkins/GitHub)
- automated testing, object-oriented design principles, REST API development, and relational database management systems (RDBMS)
- experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS)
Responsibilities
- designing, building, maintaining, enhancing, and testing web applications that drive internal processes and help service members
- working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions
- utilizing a variety of technology to drive the technology stack forward

- delivering high-quality, reliable solutions

Other
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent practical experience and training in software development
- Must live in Ohio and within commuting distance of Columbus, OH
- ability to work remotely up to 3 days per week
