Vivacity Tech is looking to solve the problem of managing and using technology in K-12 schools by developing new software solutions
Requirements
- Proficiency in Node.js
- Proficiency in React.js
- Extensive experience with testing JavaScript code (on the frontend and/or backend) using Mocha or Jest
- Fluency with markup and programming languages, including HTML, Javascript, and CSS
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Expert technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and assist and train others
- Extremely proficient with Google Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing parts of the software development process and parts of the software development team
- Understand and develop advanced web software applications on the frontend and backend
- Execute website and asset management development projects in accordance with specifications and timelines set forth
- Maintain knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in website, application design, and development
- Perform other duties as assigned
Other
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, especially in a remote, international environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in an understandable and concise way
- Ability to work independently
