Koniag Information Technology Services (KITS) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support their Army customer in Huntsville, Alabama, focusing on developing and maintaining web applications to support AMC's business process improvement and technology adoption, and directing all command, control, communications, and information technology (C4IT) functions across AMC and its subordinate commands.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Strong experience with server-side programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or C-Sharp
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Knowledge of web servers and RESTful API design
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building web applications
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications
  • Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications
  • Design, develop, and maintain APIs, ensuring interoperability between systems
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, following user-centered design principles
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
  • Implement security and data protection measures in compliance with DoD/Army cybersecurity policies
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architecture discussions

  • On-site role will focus on developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications.
