Magna is looking to develop industry-leading automotive technologies and requires a Full Stack Developer to program and develop tools utilizing Ignition software, handle day-to-day analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration of internal applications, and support various applications used within the plant.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with MSSQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
- Experience with Docker and Container
- Knowledge of .NET.
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of MQTT and UNS protocols.
Responsibilities
- Program and develop tools utilizing Ignition software.
- Handle the day-to-day analysis, design, implementation, testing, and integration of internal applications.
- Learn, understand, and support various applications used within the plant.
- Work closely with internal teams to advise on best practices for application development, enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
- Set development standards for languages, design, tools, procedures, and documentation in collaboration with Cosma.
- Focus on continuous improvement of plant applications and databases.
- Review and analyze multiple data sources to deliver actionable insights to the management team.
Other
- University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science (or a related field) with minimum 2 years of real world experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize and build complex systems.
- Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and takes initiative to independently acquire new skills and knowledge.
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a variable workload.
