Guidehealth is seeking a Software Developer to develop, support, maintain, and enhance custom in-house business applications and web portals that support their healthcare operations, aiming to improve application performance, user experience, and the efficiency of healthcare delivery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in C-Sharp programming within a fast-paced environment with flexible project requirements
- 1-3 years of development experience using ASP.Net framework
- 1-3 years of experience working with SQL Server, including troubleshooting and modifying stored procedures
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Python is advantageous
- Knowledge of coding standards, version control systems, and best practices in software development
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues with limited information
- Experience building end-to-end data-driven processes with flexible and evolving requirements
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and enhance custom in-house business applications and web portals to meet organizational needs
- Triaging, troubleshooting, and investigating reported issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and define technical specifications
- Participate in the documentation of technical processes, system designs, and user guides
- Modify and optimize SQL Server stored procedures to support application functionalities
- Assist in integrating healthcare data and ensuring compliance with security and privacy policies
- Contribute to code reviews, version control, and adherence to coding standards
Other
- Healthcare industry experience is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with end-users and technical teams
- Proficiency in understanding healthcare concepts such as claims, eligibility, providers, members, and diagnosis codes
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related analytical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with new technologies and healthcare industry standards
