Akkodis is seeking a Full Stack Developer to help a client in Detroit, MI, with migrating React components to Next.js, modernizing UI frameworks, and enhancing application functionality and APIs.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in React and Next.js (SSR, SSG, routing, API routes).
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
  • Experience deploying applications to AWS (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).
  • Familiarity with TailwindCSS, ShadcnRadix UI, Redux Toolkit, React Query.
  • Hands-on experience with Okta authentication and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with OpenAI APIs, Express, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience migrating UI components and styles between libraries.

Responsibilities

  • Audit and refactor existing React components to align with Next.js architecture.
  • Migrate styles from Chakra UI, MUI, Ant Design to TailwindCSS and ShadcnRadix UI.
  • Update routing logic from React Router to Next.js file-based routing.
  • Refactor drag-and-drop features and modernize forms and validation.
  • Port Okta authentication flows to Next.js with SSR/SSG compatibility.
  • Integrate file/image handling (Excel, Word, images) with backend technologies.
  • Expand application functionality with new pages, workflows, and advanced UI features.
