The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining complex applications and systems within their IT division by hiring a Full Stack Developer.
Requirements
- One year of experience with Web Technologies (for example: HTML, JavaScript, REACT, and CSS)
- Experience writing database queries (for example: Oracle PL/SQL/MSQL and GraphQL)
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle(s) and various Methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, XP)
- Extensive understanding of developing and deploying applications
- Understanding of programming languages such as Java, C-Sharp, PHP, PERL or Python
- Good understanding of relational databases and relational database design
- Understanding of Java servers, such as Tomcat
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
- Ensure responsive design across different devices and browsers.
- Implement UI/UX designs provided by design team.
- Debug and fix frontend issues reported by users or Quality Assurance.
- Develop and maintain server-side applications using languages like Node.js, Python, Java, or C-Sharp.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.
- Write database queries and manage data models.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college or university
- Ability to interact well with a diverse campus population
- Good listening skills and excellent oral and written communication skills in technical and non-technical settings
- Good customer service skills, for both internal and external customers
- Ability to work effectively on concurrent, multiple tasks and projects
