MetroStar is looking to hire a Full Stack Developer to update, enhance, and add features to a public-facing suite of federal government web applications.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience working as a software developer in a web-based application framework
- Proven full stack application development experience with React frontend and Ruby on Rails backend, as well as database management systems such as Oracle and PostgreSQL
- Experience working as part of a collaborative agile scrum team
- Experience building web applications on cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience with Git based source code repositories such as Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket
Responsibilities
- writing high-quality hardened code to update, enhance, and add features to a public-facing suite of federal government web applications.
- participating in all agile ceremonies, and completing user stories during two-week sprints which will enhance React and Ruby on Rails based web applications.
- collaborate with your scrum team to refine requirements, propose solutions to complex problems, and continuously improve the team's approach in order to increase efficiency and quality of delivery.
