Secmation is seeking a back-end-focused Software Developer with full stack experience to join their engineering team to develop secure software for advanced defense and embedded systems, with a focus on IoT cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience in full-stack development, with expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies
- Proficient in programming languages and web application frameworks including Python, JavaScript, and/or Java (e.g., React, Django, Flask, Spring, Express)
- MySQL database management
- Django web framework
- Celery for asynchronous task processing
- Docker containerization
- Python programming language
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile software development environments, utilizing DevOps tools such as Jira and Git
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creation of innovative software products that push the boundaries of Defense and industrial cybersecurity technologies.
- designing, developing, and testing front-end applications using modern frameworks and UI principles
- creating RESTful APIs for secure communication and integration
- building robust back-end systems and databases that emphasize performance, scalability, and data integrity.
- work in close collaboration with embedded systems and cybersecurity software engineers to integrate front-end and back-end services with secure firmware and system-level components.
- Your work will directly support high-impact projects with dual-use potential, delivering solutions for both commercial and defense applications that protect critical infrastructure and autonomous systems.
