Apollo is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their New York office, working directly with the Credit Trading Desk. This individual will collaborate with investment professionals and stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions. The role requires strong hands-on development skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proven record of building high-quality systems that support trading and investment decision-making.
Requirements
- Hands-on development experience with Python, Java, C++, and SQL.
- Exposure to trading technologies across asset classes; familiarity with trading workflows or the credit lifecycle preferred.
- Experience with transaction cost analysis, P&L attribution, risk factor modeling, and order routing strongly preferred.
- Solid background with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architectures.
- Strong database skills (SQL/NoSQL), with experience in query optimization and data management.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka and working knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git).
- Experience delivering full-stack applications in Agile development environments.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of trading and portfolio management applications.
- Deliver reliable, well-tested code within an Agile environment.
- Support the full software lifecycle: analysis, coding, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.
- Partner closely with traders, portfolio managers, and colleagues to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in design discussions, peer code reviews, and team knowledge sharing.
- Troubleshoot issues, provide production support, and improve system reliability.
- Help ensure data accuracy and adherence to governance standards.

- 6+ years of technology experience, including at least 3 years in a trading environment.
- Proven track record of building and deploying trading software in production.

- The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
