Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services for the U.S. government
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform (or relevant IaC tools)
- Familiarity with Javascript and experience either developing full stack / frontend software or working closely to integrate with frontend developers
- Strong knowledge of designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs services, distributed NoSQL and relational databases, caching systems, event-driven and multi-tier architectures
- Experience working with React components in Typescript and frameworks like Next.js, Refine (or Blitz.js / RedwoodJS)
- Strong knowledge of containerized applications and serverless architecture
- Experience with Kubernetes and preferred experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS
- Strong knowledge of task automation and CI/CD pipeline building, preferably with GitHub actions but not required

- collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement new features, and troubleshoot issues
- optimize resource utilization and automate processes
- contribute to core product development
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 4+ years [professional] experience in backend development, full stack development or other related role
- Active US Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
- Deep technical analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Independent self-starter; able to complete projects on time with minimal guidance
