Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer to develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services for the U.S. government, contributing to both mission-unique software and core product development.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, GraphQL, Docker, and Terraform (or relevant IaC tools)
  • Familiarity with Javascript and experience either developing full stack / frontend software or working closely to integrate with frontend developers
  • Strong knowledge of designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting APIs services, distributed NoSQL and relational databases, caching systems, event-driven and multi-tier architectures
  • Experience working with React components in Typescript and frameworks like Next.js, Refine (or Blitz.js / RedwoodJS)
  • Strong knowledge of containerized applications and serverless architecture
  • Experience with Kubernetes and preferred experience with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, EFS/EBS, EC2, and RDS
  • Strong knowledge of task automation and CI/CD pipeline building, preferably with GitHub actions but not required

  • Location: Irvine, CA - Hybrid Remote (2 days on - 3 days home)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including satellite operators, customers, and other software engineers to understand requirements, implement new features, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Deep technical analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Independent self-starter; able to complete projects on time with minimal guidance
  • Active US Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
