The Applications, Infrastructure and Deployment team at SAS is looking for a Full Stack Developer to help build bleeding-edge technologies like SAS Data Maker and SAS Viya Copilot, ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytics software.

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience developing in GO or React
  • 2+ years experience building and orchestrating containers using technologies like docker and Kubernetes
  • You have written automated tests at various levels (unit, integration, etc.) for your software
  • You have experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, or similar
  • You have experience with cloud architectures and at least one major public cloud provider. Preferably Azure

Responsibilities

  • Maintain critical infrastructure (both on-prem and cloud based) that drives the CI/CD process to ensure delivery of high-quality software
  • Design and develop high quality, testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines
  • Actively involve other project stakeholders (e.g. managers, developers, user interface and visual designers, product managers) to ensure implementation satisfies functional requirements
  • Participate in project scoping and scheduling; track progress of individual tasks and alerts stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of task
  • Ensure the quality of the code you write through the development of automated tests (unit, performance, user interface)
  • Perform testing of software; verify, track, and fix "bugs"; modify software design, as necessary

  • 5 years of programming experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
  • You’re curious, passionate, authentic and accountable.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can easily articulate and tailor your message based on the audience (technical, business, executive, etc)
