Novig is a sports prediction market that guarantees users the best lines by allowing them to play directly against friends or the market, rather than against the house, making the sports trading experience more efficient, fair, and, most importantly, profitable. The current sports betting market has egregious margins, discriminatory and inefficient practices, and a stale betting experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience building full stack applications
- Proficiency in a system programming language (e.g., Rust, Go, C++) and at least one modern frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue)
- Experience developing distributed systems with cloud-based architecture
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a developer-first API experience for algorithmic trading and power users
- Expand product features by extending modular backend services and contributing to frontend components
- Scale up our real-time data ingestion, processing, and distribution pipelines
- Collaborate closely with design and product teams to build performant, intuitive user interfaces
- Contribute to architecture and system design decisions across the stack
- Improve observability and reliability across backend and frontend systems
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Strong product intuition and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and within fast-moving, cross-functional teams
- Expressed interest in sports, markets, and technology
