Zoom is looking to shape the future of its Web Meeting and Webinar platform by developing high-impact, scalable services that support millions of users globally.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level web applications, including frontend/backend systems, APIs, and SDKs using Spring MVC or Spring Boot.
- Have deep experience in Java development, including IO, concurrency, and mu ti-threaded programming.
- Have hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and understand best practices for scalable, secure deployments.
- Have experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- Have led end-to-end development of large technical projects in collaborative environments.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing backend services using Java and Spring Boot, and building secure, scalable systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS, microservices, RESTful APIs, NoSQL).
- Building responsive, adaptive customer-facing web interfaces that provide consistent user experiences across platforms.
- Driving cloud-based test automation and deployment strategies using AWS services (e.g., EC2, ECS, S3, ElasticCache) to optimize performance and ensure platform reliability.
- Creating scalable metrics and dashboards to support business and technical insights.
- Triaging critical customer issues and engaging in support as needed to resolve escalations effectively.
- Defining core Web Meeting/Webinar product requirements in partnership with product management and translating roadmap vision into detailed features and deliverables.
- Establishing and maintaining engineering processes, best practices, and coding standards to ensure high-quality development.
