RE Partners is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help drive experimentation, growth, and reliability for a mission-critical messaging platform. The engineer will onboard an affiliated consumer brand onto the platform and tailor it to their product needs.
Requirements
- Go: deep expertise building scalable, maintainable backend services.
- TypeScript + React: high-quality UI/internal tools.
- Bash: confident in shell tooling, scripting, and fundamentals for automation and troubleshooting.
- Serverless & event-driven: building AWS Lambda functions; understanding “lambda architectures” (AWS-Lambda-based services and batch/stream processing), queues, topics, and triggers.
- CI/CD: designing pipelines with robust testing and progressive delivery.
- Kubernetes: strong grasp of containerization, manifests/Helm, service mesh basics, and scaling
- Nginx: reverse proxying, caching, TLS/HTTP, performance tuning.
Responsibilities
- Design & build: high-scale messaging services and APIs in Go; own projects end-to-end from design through production.
- Ship user-facing tools: in TypeScript/React that improve operator and growth-team workflows.
- Automate & operate: author AWS Lambdas, event-driven components, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes workloads.
- Collaborate across orgs: work with product, growth/marketing, data, and security stakeholders; communicate progress and surface risks early.
