Fathom is seeking to solve the inefficiencies and frustrations associated with traditional note-taking by developing AI-powered meeting assistants that enhance productivity and streamline communication. The company is experiencing rapid growth and needs to expand its product features, particularly third-party integrations and its desktop/Chrome extension applications.
Requirements
- Proficiency in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies
- Experience with third-party integrations such as CRMs, Zapier, Slack, etc.
- Knowledge of application development using Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Electron, and related technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly GCP (GCS, GKE), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of database management with MySQL and Redis
- Ability to read, understand, and contribute to complex codebases
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies rapidly
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core product features across the full technology stack
- Build and enhance third-party integrations with CRMs, Zapier, Slack, and other tools
- Contribute to the development of our desktop Electron application and Chrome extension
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality releases
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions promptly
- Document technical specifications and best practices for team reference

- At least 2+ years of experience developing customer-facing SaaS applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to development
- Strong work ethic with a focus on shipping features quickly and reliably
- Fluent in English and residing within 2 hours of a US time zone
