Summit Securities Group is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to own the development of critical, API-first systems that drive their trading performance. The goal is to design and build robust backend services and intuitive user interfaces that connect trading, research, and operations teams, ultimately improving the efficiency and effectiveness of their trading strategies.
Requirements
- A strong command of Python for backend services and Typescript for modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
- Proven experience designing and building scalable APIs and a deep understanding of microservice architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
- Excellent analytical skills with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, test, and deploy robust full stack applications essential to our operations, taking projects from concept through production.
- Take full ownership of the user experience by building both the clean, scalable backend APIs and the polished, intuitive frontends that consume them.
- Lead the design of decoupled, scalable, and maintainable systems.
- Design and implement elegant, effective, and impactful solutions.
- Champion and implement engineering best practices (testing, CI/CD, monitoring, etc).

- 5+ years of experience
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating strong technical foundations.
