CMS is looking to modernize its IT infrastructure and ensure the long-term sustainability, interoperability, and security of its enterprise-grade, secure full-stack applications.

Requirements

  • Directing and overseeing the design, development, integration, and modernization of secure full-stack applications
  • Ensuring full-stack applications are integrated with enterprise data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks as well as to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures using open-source frameworks (React, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, Kubernetes)
  • Leading the analysis and evaluation of proposed or modified policies and regulations to assess their potential impact on enterprise software development programs
  • Providing guidance and leadership in recommending and developing IT modernization strategies and technology adoption decisions

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, development, integration, and modernization of enterprise-grade, secure full-stack applications.
  • Develop agency-wide standards for enterprise software frameworks, languages, and tools to ensure long-term sustainability, interoperability, and security.
  • Establish CMS-wide coding standards, design patterns, and secure software development practices.
  • Directing and overseeing the design, development, integration, and modernization of secure full-stack applications
  • Ensuring full-stack applications are integrated with enterprise data platforms like Snowflake or Databricks as well as to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures using open-source frameworks (React, Angular, Spring Boot, Node.js, Kubernetes)
  • Leading the analysis and evaluation of proposed or modified policies and regulations to assess their potential impact on enterprise software development programs
  • Providing guidance and leadership in recommending and developing IT modernization strategies and technology adoption decisions

  • Provide strategic technical leadership and executive guidance to Federal staff and contractors across the Enterprise Architecture and Data Group (EADG).
