Citi is looking to develop its private database cloud, leveraging the latest web and cloud tech stacks
Requirements
- Proficient in Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Angular, or similar modern web development frameworks.
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Comprehensive understanding of all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Proven ability in microservices design and development, API integration, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, preferably Scrum.
- Good to have experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, design and implement front and back end components for Citi’s private cloud initiative.
- Responsible for managing DBaaS web portal and back end processes.
- Evaluate new Cloud technologies and perform proof of concept evaluations.
- Application tuning, performance optimization and maintenance
- Application monitoring and alerting automation
Other
- 5 plus years in a product development/product management environment
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate seamlessly within a global team.
- Good communication skills
- Ability to understand business functions and user stories, and decompose them into clear technical specifications for application and microservices development.
