LaunchDarkly is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join their Feature Management team to empower developers with best-in-class controls and insights for managing software features, impacting developers in a highly visible area by building features and tooling critically embedded throughout the software development lifecycle to enable developers to improve their efficiency with seamless control of their software releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building full stack web applications.
- Familiarity with Typescript, React, Node, and Go is preferred but not required.
- You write code that can be easily understood by others, with an eye towards maintainability.
- You hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems.
- You value high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement developer-first tooling such as MCP servers and browser toolbars.
- Deeply understand developer workflows so that you can streamline developer experiences.
- Directly influence the developer roadmap and experiential details by representing the voice of the developer.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to create cohesive, end-to-end developer experiences.
- Participate actively in architecture planning, code reviews, and mentoring peers in full-stack best practices.
- As part of our you-build-it-you-run-it culture, all developers may be responsible of support applications in production, including on-call.
- Experience utilizing AI tooling to enhance daily engineering efficiency.

- Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones for Level P3: Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or New York City Metropolitan Area (if not Bay area specific role): $167,000 - $210,000, Zone 2: Boston, DC, Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Seattle: $150,200 - $190,000, Zone 3: All other US locations: $141,900 - $180,000
- Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
