Augment Code is looking to solve the problem of driving user acquisition, engagement, and monetization for their AI coding assistant by hiring a Growth Engineer to design and build features that accelerate their growth trajectory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong full-stack or frontend expertise.
  • A track record of shipping high-impact features in fast-paced, experiment-driven environments.
  • Comfort with data—you can analyze metrics, run A/B tests, and use results to drive technical decisions.
  • Experience working on monetization, activation, or retention features.
  • Exposure to growth engineering in startup or high-growth environments.
  • Experience with developer tools, SaaS, or AI-based products.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship full-stack features and experiments that drive key growth metrics such as activation, retention, and revenue.
  • Partner with product, design, marketing, and data to identify growth opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of growth initiatives—balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
  • Analyze experiment results and use data to inform decisions, iterate on features, and identify new areas for growth.
  • Bring curiosity, creativity, and strong product thinking to help shape user experiences and improve conversion funnels.
