McCormick is looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer II to participate in the design and creation of scalable software, write clean functional code, diagnose and fix bugs, and contribute to the architecture of their technology stack.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency with C-Sharp, .NET, data structures, basic algorithms, and applying object-oriented principles and design patterns
  • Very strong experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
  • Strong Experience in working with cloud providers and technologies to complete a multi tiered solution from beginning to end.
  • Experience in designing and implementing efficient RESTful APIs.
  • In-depth Experience in Unit Testing frameworks like JEST, Cypress, NUnit, Selenium or similar.
  • Experience in Version Control tools like GIT and IDE like VSCode, Visual Studio.
  • Experience with monitoring/observability platforms like New Relic or similar.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design and creation of scalable software.
  • Write clean functional code in both front and back end systems.
  • Diagnose Test, fix and bugs anywhere with the tech stack
  • Review and suggest improvements to third party code.
  • Maintain their knowledge of current and trending technologies, sharing and helping to develop other members of the team.
  • Support and contribute to the architecture of the technology stack.
  • Work as part of the team to design and build state of the art business applications and prepare technical specifications based on evaluation of business specifications for complex business requirements.

  • Ability to handle rotational on-call responsibilities when needed
  • Maintain continuous personal learning and development to remain technological relevancy in current and emerging technologies.
