BioLM is building an AI platform for molecular discovery, enabling researchers to design and analyze biological sequences using state-of-the-art language models. The company is seeking a Full-Stack Application Development Intern to help build and refine user-facing interfaces for this platform.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python , Django , HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Familiarity with SQLAlchemy or comparable ORM frameworks
- Understanding of UI design principles and experience using Figma or similar tools
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines , Docker , and version control (Git/GitHub)
- Experience with interactive data visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js, Plotly, Vega-Lite)
- Understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, or modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive front-end components using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Implement backend logic, APIs, and data models using Python (Django) and Node.js
- Manage data persistence using SQLAlchemy or similar ORM frameworks
- Collaborate on UI/UX design workflows in Figma, translating designs into production-ready components
- Design and implement interactive data visualizations to support research and analytics
- Contribute to the setup and optimization of deployment and delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
- Help configure and maintain cloud environments (Vercel, Cloudflare, Nginx, AWS) with attention to scalability and load balancing
