Rippl is reimagining mental health care for seniors with dementia and their caregivers by leveraging disruptive technology and a new care model to democratize access to high-quality, wrap-around dementia care, helping seniors stay healthier at home longer and out of the ER and hospital. Today's dementia care isn't working, and too many families are struggling to find the support they need.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with Python, specifically using Flask for back-end development.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices in Python/Flask, with attention to scalability and performance.
- Proficiency with modern front-end technologies, especially React (or similar frameworks), plus solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7) and HIPAA-compliant system design strongly preferred.
- Curiosity about AI-driven solutions in healthtech, with interest in applying them to real-world clinical and caregiver workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full stack.
- Develop and maintain back-end services and RESTful APIs using Python/Flask, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
- Lead the development of new features for the Navigator Console, scheduling, and assessment tools, enhancing Rippl’s telehealth platform.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to deliver intuitive and accessible user interfaces using React (or similar frameworks).
- Integrate third-party services and internal systems (e.g., EHR, telehealth, analytics tools) through robust APIs and data pipelines.
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure application stability and reliability.
- Conduct regular code reviews, debug complex issues, and contribute to engineering best practices.
