Calendly is looking for a Full Stack Engineer III to help decompose its monolith into various services to scale the platform and team, and to design and support core features and architecture.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Rails is preferred. Experience with Node or a comparable web-app framework is also acceptable.
- Professional experience with TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and involvement in monolith-to-services modernization or large-scale refactoring initiatives.
- Proven ability to own features end-to-end, including technical discovery, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.
- Experience using AI coding assistants (Copilot, Cursor, etc.) as productivity tools, with a clear understanding of generated code and the ability to defend implementation choices.

- 4+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational needs
- Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
- This role may require occasional travel for company events, team collaboration, or offsites.
