Responsibilities
- Build and maintain highly complex, high-volume, large scale, scalable, maintainable and extensible software on a Java/J2EE application stack using full software development life-cycle (SDLC) methodology from concept, design, and documentation to testing, ensuring specification compliancy and adhering to coding standard
- Analyzes user/business needs and functionality to plan and assign with the design of software systems to meet those needs
- Join our talented Development Team. Our project is built on a multi-tier architecture including Service Oriented architecture, multi-tier web applications using Java and various other COTS products
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; Critical thinking and creative problem solving
- Write simple and complex SQL Queries, preferably with DB2 SQL syntax including PL/SQL
- Develop software systems using Core Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, ORM Tools, Java Build tools, Junit testing, and Web Services
- Work with Relational Database, and SQL
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5-9 years experience in software development
- 3 years of large-scale application experience
- 3 years of Health Exchange experience
- Good analytical and multitasking skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
