Northrop Grumman is seeking a Full-stack (Front-end focused) Software Engineer to support the Payload & Ground Systems - Integrated National Systems team, specifically the Starfleet program, which is a critical national security mission.
Requirements
- Experience with Agile principles, processes, and tools
- Experience developing front-end applications in two or more of the following: Typescript, React, Lit, Node.js, Angular
- Experience developing applications in Java
- Experience developing applications in a containerized architecture using Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience developing applications on a Linux/Unix operating system
- At least 1 year of experience developing front-end applications
- At least 3 years of experience developing object-oriented applications in Java
Responsibilities
- A good candidate will have two or more of the following front-end skills to compliment full-stack/back-end skills: Typescript, React, Lit, Node.js, Angular.
- The program appreciates engineers that identify and propose improvement ideas in technology, process, architecture, or tooling and are fast-learners on existing code bases.
- Once you are fully program cleared, all developers must support integration, test, deployment, and O&M defect resolutions in the secure facility part time.
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) (not required to start)
- Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance at time of application
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3 years of professional experience – OR – PhD with 1 year of professional experience
- Ability to travel (limited, up to 10%)
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions
