SupplyHouse.com is looking for a Full Stack Intern to support impactful projects that enhance their e-commerce platform and internal operations, while honing skills across front- and back-end development.
Requirements
Experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles, including modern front-end frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Experience in Java and back-end frameworks like Spring Boot with an understanding of database design, RDBMS concepts, and SQL
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with an eagerness to provide support across the life cycle, including planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
Familiarity with version control systems, like Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications.
Create user-friendly and responsive front-end functionalities for our e-commerce platform while supporting robust back-end APIs and services.
Develop and enhance internal tools and applications to improve company operations.
Ensure system reliability, optimize application performance, and implement best practices for scalability.
Design and implement reusable, maintainable UI components and templates, and work closely with Designers to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to UX design standards.
Support the improvement of existing codebases and implementing modern practices.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in full-stack development.

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in the final year of studies or recent graduate with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
This remote position is open to individuals who live and attend school in Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, or Washington
This opportunity requires travel to our headquarters in Melville, NY for IT department on-site meetings up to 3 times per year.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
