American Crane & Equipment Corporation is looking for a Full Stack IoT Engineer to engineer cutting-edge IIoT solutions for overhead cranes, design and develop hardware and software, and help bring groundbreaking ideas from concept to deployment.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in end-to-end IoT or embedded systems development.
- Experience with the full product lifecycle - from concept and prototyping to field deployment.
- Strong understanding of embedded C/C++, JSON, microcontroller platforms
- Experience with PCB design and schematic tools
- Familiarity with wireless protocols (Wi-Fi, BLE, LTE), IoT data protocols (MQTT/CoAP).
- Familiarity with communication protocols including SPI, UART and I2C.
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - can deploy simple services and databases.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the engineering lead for the MHIoT project - defining features, researching components, developing software, and building user interfaces.
- Design, prototype, and test IoT devices, including enclosures suitable for industrial environments.
- Integrate hardware and software solutions, from embedded systems to cloud dashboards.
- Provide technical support for MHIoT customers, including demos, presentations, and site installations.
- Participate in commissioning, troubleshooting, and pilot programs.
- Support SCS product/service feature development and customer support.
- Work with sales and marketing to craft proposals, develop brand materials, and attend events.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Master’s degree is a plus.
