Adaptive is looking for a Fullstack Java Developer to join their New York team to build an auction and trading platform with one of their institutional investment clients.
Requirements
- Significant, professional server-side software development experience using Core Java. Exposure to Java 17+ is a plus.
- General familiarity with data structures such as sets, hashes, caches, etc...
- General knowledge of data injection/inversion of control.
- Experience using JavaScript and modern UI web tooling - build tools, package managers, styling engines, web framework landscape, etc...
- Typescript production experience; A preference for Typescript over JavaScript.
- Proficiency with client-side debugging tools (Chrome Developer Tools, React Devtools).
- Experience developing Front Office financial systems (OMS/EMS/Exchange systems/eTrading) and FIX Protocol.
Responsibilities
- building application front ends, particularly with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- solve complex technical challenges, especially in cloud-based environments and event-driven architecture patterns.
