GDIT is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to provide enterprise system support and protect the country from threats by advancing the mission
Requirements
- Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), Responsive Design
- Back End Skills: Microservices, REST, Node.js, JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.), Database (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
- Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products
- Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine
- Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)
- Front End Skills: Angular, Salesforce
- Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.) Docker, Ansible
Responsibilities
- Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
- Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks
- Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
- Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
- Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

- Education: BS in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
- Experience: 8+ years
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
