KKR's Technology team is responsible for building and supporting the firm's technological foundation, driving a culture of excellence through efficient workflow automation, the democratization of data, and the strategic implementation of emerging technologies to consistently serve business needs. The Investments Operations & Reference Data Technology Team specifically needs to design, develop, and maintain strategic business systems supporting investment trading, pre- and post-trade allocation, market and reference data, trust compliance, cash management, and key risk control reporting.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Python and Aurora RDS with test-driven development experience.
- Proficiency in REST API development and advanced SQL.
- Exposure to Next.js/React or FastAPI is advantageous but not required.
- Familiarity with AWS services (ALB, EC2, Lambda, Secrets Manager) is expected.
- Prior experience with the Mendix Platform is an advantage but not required.
- Working knowledge of DTCC CTM processes for public securities.
- Understanding of SWIFT MT500 series messages.
Responsibilities

- Understanding of SWIFT MT500 series messages.

- Familiarity with AWS services (ALB, EC2, Lambda, Secrets Manager) is expected.
- Adheres to modern SDLC principles, including test-driven development, peer code reviews, and robust change management processes.
Other
- 4–6 years in the financial services industry preferred, with familiarity in bonds, loans, and mortgage-backed securities.
- Candidates must be willing to learn and complete Mendix’s Rapid Application Developer course (instructions provided after initial interview).
