Weston & Sampson is looking for a Full Stack Software Developer to help drive innovative solutions for their internal teams and clients by building custom tools and platforms to support technical and field services.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Solid backend experience using Python
- 3-5 years web development with Azure Function Apps and Azure Web Apps
- Proficient in relational databases (Azure SQL and MySQL preferred)
- Experience developing and consuming APIs
- Familiarity with GitHub and source control best practices
- Demonstrated experience with RESTful API integration and system integration.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Build, manage, and deploy backend serverless functions using python, Azure Functions, and Azure SWA.
- Integrate with various APIs and external systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.
- Design and manage databases with Azure SQL and MySQL, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with a small team using GitHub for source control
- Integrate applications with geospatial platforms such as ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise (highly desirable)
- Ensure application scalability, security, and maintainability
Other
- 5–7 years of professional full stack development experience, with exposure in all phases.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Experience with ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise integration
- Exposure to Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of security and authentication best practices
