Collins Aerospace is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer II to design, develop and maintain full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications to support customer mission
Requirements
- Software development experience with JavaScript and Python
- Theoretical to advanced knowledge of solving problems with software
- Experience solving problems through exercise of discretion and/or judgment, drawing from prior experiences, with analysis of the issue
- Experience making changes or enhancements in systems and processes
- Experience with Git or other software version control
- Experience working with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy full-stack, AI-based enterprise applications on an AI Platform
- Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
- Identify application performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
- Conduct design and development reviews of customer software applications
- Write application specifications and documentation
Other
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
- Must be able to work onsite in Tysons Corner, VA
