Genius Sports is looking to build and improve their AI-based sports analytics products to provide a seamless user experience for their customers.
Requirements
- Experience building production web apps using ReactJS and NodeJS
- Experience with GraphQL (client or server)
- Experience with Rust
- Experience working with Video Streaming Applications
- Knowledge of ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, Design Systems
- Knowledge of GraphQL, REST, NodeJS, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, Pulsar, Auth0, Rust
- Knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, ElasticCache), Docker, Linux, Terraform
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing and internal applications
- Contribute to multiple layers of the stack, from web front-end, backend APIs, and databases
- Assist with reliability, stability, and availability of applications
- Communicate technical commitments and decisions to team and external stakeholders
- Discuss and distribute knowledge, technical concepts, and ideas with any member of the diverse organization
- Participate in the engineering culture by embracing opportunities to learn from others
Other
- 3+ years of hands-on, full-time software development experience
- Customer-focus with an understanding that shipping software involves tradeoff and collaboration
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently in an efficient manner
- Experience collaborating across multiple disciplines (front-end, back-end, databases, infrastructure, and product design)
- Bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience, with strong software engineering components
- Ability to work 4 days a week in the Los Angeles office
