Verisign is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer to join their NameStudio software development team to contribute to building a stronger, more secure internet by developing and maintaining internal and public facing UI and API applications that serve the needs of their Registry and Product business teams.
Requirements
- strong foundation in full-stack java development
- fluent in Java
- full-stack experience including ReactJS
- demonstrated understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including core Computer Science concepts
- hands-on problem-solving experience building software systems
- 8+ years of expertise in Java
- Hands on development and deployment experience in a public cloud environment, preferably AWS
Responsibilities
- involved in all aspects of product development including ideation, design, implementation, deployment, and issue resolution.
- develop and maintain internal and public facing UI and API applications.
- develop Java, Spring Boot applications, implementing algorithms and using external libraries (such as Tensorflow) to generate domain suggestions.
- develop web applications using Spring-Boot, Grails, ReactJS and Thymeleaf.
- work with PostgreSQL for the data persistence layer.
- develop microservices that allow internal customers to manage rate limiting for API keys.
- contribute to mission-critical initiatives to ensure the security, reliability, and performance of our digital presence.
