Intuitive is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Software Engineer to join their collaborative team to design and develop AI and machine learning enabled clinical applications that provide critical insights to surgeons using the da Vinci™ Surgical System. The goal is to enhance patient care by delivering vital clinical insights, while simultaneously improving the robustness, reliability, and traceability of their applications.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with web and mobile development using React JS, React Native, and/or related technologies.
- Proficient in designing and implementing web and mobile applications, including RESTful/gRPC API development.
- Hands-on experience working with microservice-based architectures and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Bash scripting and Python programming in Linux/Unix environments.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), software development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and unit testing best practices.
- Experience with React Native, React JS, JavaScript, Linux, Python scripting
Responsibilities
- Developing new software features for our AI and machine learning enabled clinical applications.
- Designing and implementing new data models and software APIs to support product features related to data retrieval, loading, and business logic.
- Creating cloud-based data pipelines for the clinical data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) into our cloud databases.
- Engaging in proof-of-concept software development for new product initiatives.
- Writing software unit tests and working with software test engineers to debug and resolve software issues.
- Contributing to software site reliability engineering to ensure compliance with product SLAs for our customers.
- Involving in customer-facing software production support, collaborating with Tier 2 support engineers to ensure a seamless experience for surgeons.
