Rune Technologies is looking to revolutionize military logistics and sustainment by deploying AI-enabled solutions to solve critical logistics challenges faced by the U.S. military and its allies, modernizing inventory management, transportation optimization, and predictive maintenance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably building and deploying production-grade web applications or distributed systems.
- Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar.
- Experience working with data pipelines, APIs, and system integrations.
- Experience deploying software to production environments in managed cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Kubernetes) as well as Edge infrastructure (small form factor hardware).
- Exposure to data engineering, analytics, or machine learning in operational contexts.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy robust software solutions that address the DoD’s hardest logistics technology challenges.
- Understand, break down, model and integrate complex real world sustainment doctrine and tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) into Rune’s data models and technology solutions.
- Build and iterate on applications that deliver modern, intuitive experiences to users at the tactical edge.
- Integrate logistics data from diverse systems to enable real-time visibility, predictive insights, and optimized workflows.
- Implement challenging algorithmic backend solutions in a robust, scalable way to solve complex real-world logistics challenges faced by Rune’s customers.
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews, contributing to a culture of excellence, collaboration, and mission focus.
- Triage and debug issues in production, ensuring high reliability and rapid iteration in support of operational needs.
