XBorg is looking to solve the problem of creating personalized, gamified experiences for millions of fans of the world's biggest esports teams, such as Team Liquid, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and JD Gaming, and expanding beyond gaming into the AI race.
Requirements
- Experience with React/Next.js (frontend) and Node.js/Nest.js (backend)
- Comfortable with PostgreSQL, TypeScript, AWS/cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines
- Built features involving gamification, rewards systems, or community engagement
- Worked with third-party API integrations (Discord, Twitter, Steam, etc.)
- Comfortable with designing and maintaining APIs
Responsibilities
- Take features from concept to production
- Write both frontend and backend code
- Deploy to production and monitor how it performs
- Launch features quickly and collaborate with the product team to get feedback from esports teams
- Work across the stack, including frontend (React, Next.js), backend (Nest.js, PostgreSQL), APIs, integrations, and deployments
- Understand the product and think about user problems, not just technical implementation
- Ship end-to-end features and iterate based on real usage
