Visionist has an exciting new, fully FUNDED opportunity for a Full Stack Software Engineer on our largest PRIME contract. Our team of Analysts and Engineers is motivated by the direct impact on the mission, crafting specialized tools for enhanced efficiency and quick iterations for our operations user base.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and building automation and integration tools
- Proven ability to identify manual processes and implement software solutions that reduce operational effort
- Hands-on experience designing custom workflows in the Atlassian product ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Knowledge of adjacent domains (dataflow, data science, mission analytics) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and contribute to a diverse set of teams, systems, and technology stacks
- Gather requirements and make improvements to existing corporate tools
- Develop robust solutions for project and issue management, documentation, and configuration management
- Create custom workflows to automate tracking and enforce internal processes
- Independently drive feature development, taking ownership of the full development lifecycle
Other
- Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) Clearance With Polygraph Is Required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
- 12 years of experience in software development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously, driving projects from concept to completion
- U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible). Applicants selected will be required to obtain / maintain a government security clearance.
