LMI is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to work with a team to develop innovative software programs that enable supply chain analysis activities for the Department of Defense.

Requirements

  • 3+ years building full-stack web applications
  • Strong experience in any statically typed, compiled language (e.g., Typescript, Java, Go, any of the C languages)
  • 3+ years experience developing within the React ecosystem (React.js, Next.js, MUI components etc)
  • Strong understanding of client–server architecture and the web request lifecycle to efficiently call API endpoints from the frontend and write/manage callable API endpoints
  • Current experience developing with Unix-like systems (macOS / Linux)
  • Basic UI structure & styling knowledge (HTML, CSS)
  • Basic SQL knowledge preferably with Postgres

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain intuitive visualizations, dashboards, and reusable User Interface (UI) components using React and the Material UI component library
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using client specifications for security and containerized deployments in client environments
  • Manage UI component buildout in conjunction with project management stakeholders using an agile-based project management approach
  • Collaborate with designers/SMEs to review wireframes for technical feasibility and align them with React best practices and overall design system
  • Collaborate with data engineers to outline specifications for supporting data tables

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Active DoD Secret clearance
  • Located within the National Capital Region for onsite classified development
  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Desire to learn about logistics and supply chain risk
