Apple’s Find My team is looking to take its global platform to the next level and power bold new services and solutions by empowering bold roadmaps of services and solutions that harness the power of a secure global worldwide crowd-source network.
Requirements
- Solid software engineering fundamentals - including data structures & algorithms, object-oriented design, and concurrency
- Experience in building high scale backend distributed systems using public cloud technologies
- Strong Java expertise - including but not limited to: Core Java, Multithreading, non-blocking IO
- Experience with modern web technologies like HTML5, CSS, Javascript and its frameworks
- Familiarity with GitHub, build and deployment tools like Maven, Docker, Spinnaker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge and experience working with CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation testing
- Familiarity using AI for software development and maintenance, developing machine learning systems, ML frameworks, libraries and algorithms is desirable but not required.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing software solutions, using Java and web frameworks, for high scale Services.
- Drive architectural improvements, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction for long-term scalability.
- Collaborate through code reviews, shadowing senior developers, and understanding cross-functional workflows.
- Take ownership of increasingly complex features, leading debugging efforts and improving internal tools and testing coverage.
- Partner proactively with Product, QA, and Ops to manage dependencies and ensure high-quality, reliable releases.
- Triage, investigate, and remediate production and operational issues.
- Champion process enhancements in CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
