The Devices & Services team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences for users, researching, designing, and developing new technologies and hardware to make user interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
- Experience designing large scale distributed systems using a programming language such as Java.
- Understanding of distributed systems architecture and database technologies.
Responsibilities
- Work with multiple first-party teams to integrate Google One with in-product touch-points to drive Google One interventions.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders like Product, UX, Business to identify and build scalable solutions that help drive business outcomes.
- Work on improving performance and reliability of the onramps infrastructure.
- Improve the onramps capabilities such as configuration based experiment setup, richer UI support, cross-channel journeys, etc.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience collaborating in a globally distributed product and engineering team.
