The organization is developing an AI-powered super app designed to make car ownership more affordable and seamless, connecting insurance, repairs, and road safety in a single mobile-first platform. The Full Stack Software Engineer role on the Growth Team will focus on building and improving systems for user onboarding and insurance shopping, directly impacting user acquisition, conversion, and retention as part of a high-growth, profitable technology team.

Requirements

  • Full stack experience with some frontend exposure preferred
  • Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and systems design
  • Ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and iterate quickly
  • Ownership of end-to-end outcomes and continual improvement of systems
  • Work on both frontend (React, React Native) and backend (Node.js, Nest.js), integrating across teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain systems supporting customer onboarding, shopping, and purchase flows for car, home, and motorcycle insurance products
  • Contribute to initiatives like revamping pre-sale flows for new products
  • Address technical debt, fix bugs, and support tech stack refactoring across end-to-end shopping flow
  • Support multiple teams and initiatives, prioritizing high-impact tasks for user conversion and revenue
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to improve user experience and automation
  • Work on both frontend (React, React Native) and backend (Node.js, Nest.js), integrating across teams
  • Participate in daily standups, work asynchronously across time zones, and communicate via Asana and Slack

Other

  • Minimum 1 year experience (including internships) for entry-level, or 2+ years for experienced engineers, building production-grade software
