Verisign is looking for a software developer to join their team to contribute to building a stronger, more secure internet by working on customer-facing web applications.
Requirements
- 5+ year's software development experience
- Fluent in Java
- Full-stack development experience (2+ years): backend (Web, REST), frontend (React, HTML, CSS, JS)
- Frameworks: Spring and Spring Boot, Hibernate
- Test Automation: Unit/Integration/UI testing
- Data Layer: SQL, relational Databases, postgres
- OS: Familiarity with UNIX-like operating systems
Responsibilities
- involved in all aspects of product development including ideation, design, implementation, deployment, and issue resolution
- provide technical contributions and work collaboratively with other team members
- engineering ownership of three customer-facing web applications: Verisign Account Manager (VAC), Verisign Content Management System (VCMS) and Customer Notification System (CNS)
- implementing the business logic layer with React, Java Spring Boot
- utilizing PostgreSQL for data persistence layer
- following Git Flow with pull request code reviews
- implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment using Jenkins with pipelines
Other
- cross-team collaboration with Product, Engineering, Security and Operations
- This position is based in our Reston, VA office and offers a hybrid work schedule.
