Netflix's Content & Business Products (CBP) Engineering teams need to evolve the Studio Orchestrator platform to better serve content production partners in live action, animation, and visual effects domains, by extending its capabilities and integrating it into existing tools.
Requirements
- Have recent proficient experience with Python and another language, preferably Java
- Proficient with gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation
- Working experience with RDBMS and messaging systems such as Kafka
- Working experience with modern frontend frameworks, especially React, and strong in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Responsibilities
- Evolve the Studio Orchestrator platform to better serve our content production partners in the live action, animation and visual effects domains.
- Extending the capabilities of the platform
- Integrating the platform into the tools in the domains
- Develops and operates a robust platform designed for building media workflows and complete media business applications.
- This platform delivers essential development primitives and non-functional requirements, such as content security, enabling quick and easy creation of media applications.
- Currently, this platform is foundational to managing and transforming hundreds of petabytes of footage, integrating GenAI and other machine capabilities into content production, and powering Netflix's animation and visual effects initiatives.
