Abnormal Security is looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join the Premium Email Products (PEP) team to automate the SOC team’s workflows by providing them with reliable, intuitive, and delightful products that give them time back in their day.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience designing & building fullstack software applications
- Expert in React, Redux, JS/Typescript
- Intermediate+ Python and/or Go skills
- Experience building features & components from scratch and operating them, balancing feature development work with operational tasks
- Familiarity with our stack: AWS, K8s, Django, Postgres/MySQL, Prometheus
- Familiarity with AWS services and deployment practices.
- Experience with distributed systems
Responsibilities
- Design and execute software projects that are crucial to Abnormal’s success with a team of engineers, through conception, design, implementation, launch, and operation.
- Provide guidance and mentorship for junior members of the team
- Collaborate with Technical Program Managers, Product Managers, and Go-To-Market teams to implement, verify, and iterate on issues and requests from our customers.
- Raise the standard of excellence in engineering by actively sharing knowledge within the team and engaging in professional development activities.
- Hit the ground running by contributing to the team's work within the first two weeks
Other
- BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or other related engineering field
- Open to following pre-established guidelines, coding practices, and conventions
- Experience working with distributed teams, proficient in asynchronous and written communication

- You’re able to leverage AI Developer tools such as Copilot, Claude, or Cursor in your daily workflow
