Netflix is looking to solve the problem of enabling quick debugging, better documentation, faster and safer changes to production systems across Netflix Commerce systems, and enhancing developer productivity for all of the GCP org.
Requirements
- Exceptional proficiency in the fundamentals of any programming language, with a focus on TypeScript, JavaScript, and React for web development.
- Knowledge of GraphQL, and RESTful APIs for backend connectivity.
- Skilled in creating scalable and reusable components, with an understanding of the best practices in client and server-side development.
- Bonus if you have experience in design with knowledge of design tools like Figma & Photoshop.
- At least 4+ years proven experience in designing, building, and shipping software complete with unit tests and other automation to validate quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new features for the team’s tools platform.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams and their stakeholders to understand problems and come up with innovative solutions to them.
- Lead technical direction for developer experience enhancement on our tools.
- Ensure systems are scalable, performant, and reliable.
Other
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
